Fun Fact: I’ve been writing a book for the past seven years and am working toward getting it published. I immigrated from Cameroon to the U.S. and had to navigate many challenges while working my way up the corporate ladder. I hope that by sharing my story, it might offer some encouragement or guidance to others on their own journeys.
What Inspires Me: My journey has been anything but straightforward. I’ve held many different types of roles throughout my career—all of which have been integral to my personal and professional growth. I see myself as a lifelong learner. There’s always something new to discover because knowledge truly is power. The more people embrace learning throughout their careers, the more they can grow and evolve. By staying open to new ideas and opportunities, the possibilities are endless.

Fun Fact: While I was in college I spent four fabulous years as a member of the university marching band; a social activity moreso than some grand plan to extend my music career beyond highschool. Did I play some powerhouse instrument that could be heard across the field? No - I played the flute.
What Inspires Me: I have always been compelled to help teams, functions, and organizations build the people strategy using systems thinking. Understanding the whole requires attention to how the elements are connected and influence one another over time.

Having been an operator in large, medium and start-up companies, Hands On's opportunity to supper efforts in any organization is palpable and it inspires me to both be a facilitator as well as an advisor to future it's mission and feed my passion.

Fun Fact: Despite my years in the People & Culture field, I had a full scholarship for my undergrad in Petroleum Engineering. Go figure, I was (and remain somewhat) a lover of all things math, science and engineering.
What Inspires Me: I fervently believe in the power of systematic capability development at all levels of an organization. I also have great passion for helping organizations identify and really harness their talent, which pays dividends in all directions - career progression for the employee, talent retention and typically business growth for the organization.

What Inspires Me: Being forever curious and having a growth mindset, keeps me learning. Oprah use to say, when you know better, you do better. Learning is a catalyst for changing and growing. It inspires me to be better.

Fun Fact: I am a strong believer in the power of exercise and used to be quite obsessed with personal fitness. Kickboxing was one of my more competitive and stress-reducing routines. I recall telling a Fortune 500 CEO about this in an interview and to this day believe this, along with my skills and experience, is one of the many things that made me stand out from other candidates.
What Inspires Me: The world is becoming much more competitive. I think organizations today can play a greater role in helping their people upgrade their skills. We need a future-ready workforce. Ultimately, these are among the things that give organizations a competitive advantage.
